Eat better,
age better

Personalised nutrition rooted in science

Services.

I’m a nutritionist focusing on the ailments of ageing. At 61, I know from my own experiences that food plays a vital role throughout all life stages and it’s never to late to make changes. I support:

  • High blood pressure
  • Elevated cholesterol
  • Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis
  • Pre-diabetes and insulin management
  • Weight gain
  • Prostate health
  • IBS, indigestion, bloating, reflux
  • Menopause and andropause
  • And much more …

Many of these ailments of aging don’t have to be ‘life sentences’ and with the right nutritional advice, clear intention setting and a bit of willpower, you can alter the trajectory of how you age.

My Story.

It was my own health journey that led me to retrain as a nutritionist. I’m 61, and for most of my life I lived with IBS. After the menopause I developed osteoarthritis, which eventually led to a hip replacement as well as hypercholesterolaemia (elevated LDL and total cholesterol).

Through my studies, I began to piece together the real story behind my symptoms. A serious bout of food poisoning in childhood had disrupted my gut microbiome while years of less-than-ideal eating habits compounded the problem and over time my symptoms just got worse and worse.

Training as a nutritionist gave me the knowledge and tools I needed to get better. By focusing on restoring my gut health, addressing nutrient deficiencies and making sustainable lifestyle changes, I’ve been able to transform my wellbeing. I’m pain free, my digestion is stable and my cholesterol is within range. I feel well again.

Both my parents suffered with osteoarthritis, so I understand how strong a role genetics and lifestyle can play. But I’ve also learned first-hand how powerful targeted nutrition and lifestyle strategies can be in changing the trajectory of our health.

Many common conditions we associate with ageing, such as high blood pressure, raised cholesterol, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, can be linked back to a dysfunctional gut and chronic inflammation. By making small but meaningful changes to what we eat and how we live, it’s possible to reduce symptoms, support healthy ageing and feel better for longer. Eat better, live better.

Stress is another major driver of chronic disease. Having run a hospitality business for 20 years, I know how relentless stress can be and the toll it can take on our health. Supporting clients to build resilience and reduce stress is an important part of my approach.

I trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and I’m a Registered Nutritionist with the General Naturopathic Council. I take a science-based, personalised approach to nutrition, recognising that what works for one person may not work for another.

I would love to help you feel better. Email, phone, WhatsApp, or book a discovery call to find out how I can support you.

My therapeutic approach.

In our first session, I’ll take a comprehensive health and lifestyle case history lasting around 90 minutes. This allows me to explore the underlying factors that may be contributing to how you’re feeling, rather than focusing only on surface-level symptoms, which can vary greatly from person to person. I then write up your nutrition and lifestyle plan within three working days. Your plan will be tailored specifically to you; no two individuals are the same, and what works for one person may not work for another. We’ll then have a phone call to go over the plan and for you to ask any questions.

You can then choose whether or not to have follow-up sessions which you can pay for as we go along or you can buy a package which includes the initial consultation as well as four follow-ups. This is ideal for longer-standing or multiple conditions. Read more about the services I offer.

Testimonials.

“Tracey’s very practical approach has meant finally I’ve been able to focus on my diet, making good, balanced choices which fit with my lifestyle and address my particular health concerns which are improving. You feel you’re in the safe, knowledgeable hands of someone who is focused on you. And at the same time, consultations are a friendly, enjoyable experience.” Lindsay B.

“Tracey has been a huge help with what were longstanding gut issues. The whole process was very professional, well organised and well prepared. I felt very comfortable talking through my issues, some of which were quite sensitive, and that Tracey really understood and empathised.  Her knowledge of gut health was obviously very deep but our session felt very conversational and was really enjoyable. I came away from it feeling very informed and supported. Tracey created a very thorough plan including exclusion plans, supplementation and breathing techniques to help with areas of stress.  For me, what was hugely important was that at our follow up the advice was practical, manageable and succinct. Understanding that I’m not going to be perfect in my food choices or managing stress but giving me the tools to keep me feeling well and pain free.”  Paul R.

“Feeling a million times healthier and happier. Happy gut, happy mind, happy outlook on healthier eating – all are on the up and up thanks to Tracey’s excellent advice. ” Jenny H

Working with Tracey has been very empowering. I came to her wanting to understand how to optimise my nutrition. She approached my nutritional evaluation with both scientific rigour and genuine care. Her assessment was detailed and holistic, considering not just diet but also sleep, exercise, emotional welll-being and lifestyle. What stood out was how personal and tailored her advice felt, it was always relevant to me, a little aspirational but achievable. I left each session feeling supported, understood and confident about making lasting, positive changes. Karina P.
