Step-by-step guide to a nutritional consultation
The process is very simple and I’ll take you step by step:
- First let’s determine if I’m the right person for you. Email me, book an intro call or check the list of conditions I support. Then we’ll arrange a mutually convenient time to meet, either in person (Chiswick or Richmond) or via Zoom.
- Before we meet I’ll send you a short form to complete. This collects background information about your family medical history, any test results plus any medications or supplements you take. I’ll also ask you to keep a three-day food diary (as honestly as you can) and return all of this to me 48 hours before we meet. You will sign the form and accept the terms and conditions.
- At our consultation, lasting around 90 minutes, I will take a full clinical case history. This will help us get to the root causes of your condition(s) and concerns. Everything you say is in the strictest confidence and all paperwork is held under GDPR rules.
- At the end of the consultation I’ll play back to you my understanding of your issues so we’re both clear on what needs to be addressed, and then give you some immediate steps to take.
- I will then create a detailed nutritional plan for you with specific food and lifestyle recommendations, any suggested supplements, suggested NHS or functional testing and GP or other referrals. I’ll email this to you within four working days
- After you have digested the plan we’ll have a 20 minute phone call or Zoom where we can discuss your plan and I’ll answer any questions you may have about it.
- If you have booked a package or need further sessions, we will then meet every three to four weeks for 45 minutes to monitor progress. At the end of each session I will update your Plan and we can move onto the next stage.
